Recently I am branching out from my usual “most used” brands/products and reaching out to brands that I use less frequently. I am glad to say that I am discovering something new everyday! Today I am going to show you my 5 picks from e.l.f. cosmetics that you can try too. I am limiting the products in the makeup section as e.l.f. has skincare line too. We can talk about skincare later.
5 e.l.f. COSMETICS PRODUCTS:
e.l.f. is one of the most affordable brands which offer great products in great price. Recently e.l.f. is stepping up the game by giving the products more lavish and high-end feel. The products I am going to talk about today are:
- Everyday Smoky Eyeshadow Palette
- Blush in Berry Merry
- Crease Brush
- Moisturizing Lipstick in Bordeaux Beauty
- Lip Exfoliator
Everyday Smoky Eyeshadow Palette:
Everyday Smoky Eyeshadow Palette can be found on the link and Price: $10.
By looking at this palette you are probably thinking Urban Decay Naked Palette. In some way it, indeed, gives the Naked palette vibe. But it comes at a much affordable price tag. The colors are a good mix of matte and shimmer. Some colors blend smoothly whereas some colors give chalky feeling.
Why did I pick this?
Because the colors are pretty wearable for everyday to full-on-glam makeup and the price tag is reasonable!
Here are some finger swatches without any primer.
Blush in Berry Merry:
This blush can be found here at the price $3.
This is a medium pink with purple undertone and it has gold fine shimmers. The color will remind you of NARS blush in Sin, though the swatch and product quality differs. But if you are on budget and want to add a hint of pinkish blush without breaking your wallet, go for Berry Merry.
Moisturizing Lipstick in Bordeaux Beauty:
In the sea of liquid lipsticks, sometimes I feel comfortable wearing a plain old moisturizing lipstick. This color may look like just another fall color, but it can be worn pretty much any season. The pinkish undertone in this burgundy lipstick brightens up the face and makes the teeth look a bit whiter too!
Found here at the price: $3
Technically you won’t be needing a lip exfoliator if you can mix some sugar and olive oil, but we all are very busy and sometimes we need products which can be used on-the-go. This exfoliator comes in a very handy packaging and looks just like a lipstick. So no mess for your fingers.
It can be found here and price is: $3
