New Product Chitchat: Farmacy Beauty Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask

SENT FOR REVIEW

Recently my skin has become dry, patchy and it’s lacking the healthy lustre. I don’t blame it, pulling all-nighter with a newborn baby will do so. I feel so depressed looking at my face in the mirror nowadays, I seriously need something as a “pick-me-up”.

I was sent a sheet face mask by “Farmacy” for review consideration recently. If you haven’t heard about this brand yet, may be you are not alone. Farmacy is a fairly new skin care brand which launched in Sephora and QVC.

MY EXPERIENCE:

I was sent the Soothing Kale mask, which claims to supercharge stressed, tired skin.

PROS:

The mask is easy to use.

Not over-powering smell.

It left my skin really smooth and supple.

If you leave this mask in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes and use it on your face, it feels just wonderfully refreshing.

CONS:

I haven’t found any.

IN A NUTSHELL:

With good ingredients and ease of application, this mask didn’t lower my expectation, rather increased it.

Two thumbs up!

Thank you so much for the review! I’ve discovered sheetmasking recently while exploring some Korean beauty options. I’m usually very lazy when it comes to skincare, and don’t really do much beyond washing and sunscreen, apart from the occasional mask once or twice a week. I noticed my skin getting a little dry and flaky this winter, which was a first for my oily skin. I tried out a few sheet masks from Dermal and Beauty Friends and liked them so much that I went crazy got a bunch (10!) of them. I used them for 3-4 nights in a row and loved how refreshed and moisturized I looked in the morning! Looking forward to trying these out too! I like the protective films on both sides – it really seems like a waste when I put the mask on my face and most of the essence ends up on my hands while applying the mask! (I used the extra essence from the pouch to moisturize my neck and hands, so I guess it wasn’t really a waste after all!)

Love reading your reviews, and sorry for not commenting more frequently!!💗💗💗

    • Hey Asmina… Thank you so much for the time and appreciation you have given to my work. I haven’t tried any Korean beauty product yet. But I am intrigued to try those out. Life has been so hectic after the baby, I am learning to balance everything now….still a long way to go!
I think it’s a good move that you use the excess product on your neck and hands. Afterall, these areas are getting older too! 🙂
